UNITER ANNOUNCES THE OPENING OF THE 2025 FUNDING SESSION FOR CULTURAL PROJECTS FROM THE THEATRE STAMP FUND

UNITER, at the proposal of the Senate, resumes granting non-refundable funding from theatrical stamp funds for cultural programs and projects running between June 20 and November 30, 2025.

In this regard, the UNITER Senate decided that the amount available for non-reimbursable financing in 2025 should have a total value of 300,000 lei (including the mobility fund for theater professionals).

Funding for a festival cannot exceed 25,000 lei.

Funding for a cultural project cannot exceed 10,000 lei.

The period for registering cultural projects is May 7 – June 3, 2025. Deadline for registering projects: June 3, 2025, 15:00.

Please send it to us in electronic format by e-mail to office@uniter.ro, together with the CVs of the artists involved and the members of the coordinating team. A printed copy of all these documents, accompanied by extracts / press kit of your previous achievements and any other supporting materials, please send it by post / courier or submit it in person at the headquarters of the UNITER Association – Romanian Theatre Union (George Enescu Street, no. 2–4, sector 1, Bucharest, postal code 010305, opening hours 10.00-17.00).

UNITER covers only the area of professional theatre. Projects/programmes of cultural institutions, associations and cultural foundations that are carried out by professional theatre artists are eligible.

The UNITER Senate will analyse the funding requests, and the selected projects and festivals, as well as the amounts awarded, will be announced on the website www.uniter.ro by June 18, 2025.

We also continue to provide the mobility fund for theater professionals. One grant per year can be provided to an individual, in a maximum amount of 2,000 lei. Mobility grants will be accessible throughout 2025, until the financial funds are exhausted. To access them, send an e-mail to office@uniter.ro with a request accompanied by a copy of your ID, CV, the official invitation to the event you wish to attend, an estimate of the cost of transportation or accommodation with attached proof. The cost of transportation is covered (airline ticket, train ticket, car fuel consumption 7.5% * number of km and/or accommodation at prices agreed by public institutions (according to Order no. 1235/2023, the maximum amount is 265 lei/night/single room or 530 lei/night/double room).

UNITER is the collector of theatrical stamp funds, in accordance with Law no. 35/1994, amended by Ordinance 123/2000, Law 121/2002 and Order no. 2843/2003.
