IETM is an organization based on the existence of its members, a cultural network which stimulates quality, development and contexts for contemporary performing arts in a global environment, by initiating and facilitating communication and working in a network for professionals in the cultural domain, and the dynamic exchange of information, transfer of know-how.
Our purpose is to:
- Anticipate: new tendencies and artistic evolutions in the field of contemporary arts in Europe and throughout the world
- Connect: various organizations which share common interests in a trans-disciplinary network
- Catalyze: international partnerships, exchanges, collaboration and transfer of knowledge
- Consolidate: contemporary arts by supplying new arguments for the arts and by supporting professionals, through informal learning experiences
- Influence: public policies, by the active participation to cultural and political debates, and by direct lobby activities
