UNITER is the national coordinator of the program mapxxl 2005 – 2007, a cultural mobility program initiated by the French Association “Pépinières européennes pour jeunes artistes”, whose main aim is to support and promote, at a European level, artists who are a the beginning of their career. In May 2007, at the suggestion of Luxembourg and Romania, the reunion of national coordinators and correspondents of the 26 partner countries of mapxxl is scheduled to be held in Sibiu.
The project is included in the program “Sibiu – European Capital of Culture”.
The reunion will also include a foundation workshop with the theme “How to perpetuate the new residences and favour the emergence of new poles of competence regarding the mobility of artists in an extended Europe?”
