Vestigium… The memory of those past

The project, developed in 2004, initialized an awareness and sensitization campaignof the public opinion, in view of protecting the European patrimony and addressed to all age categories: from children who are attracted in the citadel and educated in the spirit of tolerance, to young people and adults. The project was used as a means to sensitize the theatre show, with representations in four Transylvanian cities: Braşov, Sighişoara, Mediaş, Sibiu. The repertoire consisted in:

  • The interactive children’s show “Good Spirits – Evil Spirits”, produced by the National Children’s Theatre and the Abracadabra Foundation, an acting game based on Romanian mythology;
  • The theatre show “The Memory of Those Past”, produced by UNITER and SIGNIS, a show about freedom, breaking free and the power of faith, based on a script inspired by the Gospel according to John and contemporary testimonies, accompanied, in counterpoint, by a multimedia presentation;
  • The projection of the documentary “To the End of the Earth”, produced by UNITER, SIGNIS and Renovabis Foundation, dealing with the pilgrimage in which the actors crossed over 40 settlements on their way to Santiago de Compostela, going through France and Spain and playing in 30 shows in three different languages.

The project represented the Romanian sequel of a UNITER project developed in France and Spain in 2003.
